Situated in the heart of Birmingham's cherished Jewellery Quarter, this grade II listed former button manufactory built in late 19th century in the Venetian gothic style is being lovingly restored back to its former glory.

This beautiful sleeping giant once played a crucial role in the city’s enormous industrial output, becoming known for the production of its “Very Button” and other smallwares crafted in pearl, silver and linen.

San Stae is honoured to design the interior fit out of 29 characterful and authentic loft apartments nestled within its walls, drawing upon the building’s history as inspiration for the material palette.
